On Thursday, November 29th, the Creekview High School Swim Grizzlies traveled to Calhoun, Georgia to compete against four other esteemed north Georgia competitors. Pitted against impressive competition from Calhoun, Heritage, Gilmer, and Southeast Whitfield High School, the Creekview boys team secured a second place finish, with impressive swims by all. Leading the way to this second place finish was Peter Means and Logan Griffin, both of whom swam state-qualifying times in both of their individual events. Means not only achieved state-qualifying times in the 500 free and the 100 breaststroke, but broke the long-standing school record for the 500 free with a time of 5:06.76, while Griffin swam qualifying times in the 200 IM and the 100 backstroke. The Creekview Swim Grizzlies will be hosting their annual invitational on Saturday, December 8th at 2:00 pm; come out and support the Grizzlies!
