Academics · Robert Rose finishes 3rd in Microsoft Office Specialist Certification for the State of Georgia

Robert “Hunter” Rose has become the first student in Creekview High School history to finish this high in certification testing.  Every year students in Creekview Business classes are tasked with learning Microsoft Office Skills in Power Point, Word, and Excel.  Hunter passed his exams with very high scores and record times.  His achievement saw him place 3rd in Microsoft Power Point across the entire State of Georgia.  This is an amazing feat as he is only a freshman at Creekview.  After speaking with Hunter, he was immediately interested in improving his scores and trying to qualify for the US National and World Championships.  While the Business Program at Creekview is no longer being offered based off a needs assessment for career pathway interest, the Microsoft Office Certifications will still be available to all students of Creekview High School.  If anyone is interested in learning more about the Certifications, you can obtain this information by emailing Coach Jeffreys at chris.jeffreys@cherokeek12.net.

Congratulations Hunter on such an awesome accomplishment! This is an accolade and honor to be extremely proud of.  I think I can speak for Grizzly Nation and myself, that we certainly are excited and proud of you.
